Hi Shark Families, 

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 31st is our annual Practice Meet. This meet is intended to be just that - practice! For both swimmers and volunteers, it is our opportunity to run through a "mock" meet as well as to collect times for swimmer's so that may seed them correctly in heats for upcoming dual meets. Attached are all the meet details.

Meet Schedule:

• 7:00am: Swimmers / Volunteer arrival to NFC Pool Deck
• 8:00am: Meet begins
• 10:30am: Estimated end time 

Heat Sheet & Arm Labeling Instructions:

The Heat Sheet (the order of events for the meet) is attached, as well as instructions for how to mark your swimmer(s) for their events. The arm labels help their age group wranglers know which event and heats to place them in and wranglers can help label at the meet. If you have questions about labeling, coaches and wranglers can help mark swimmers in the morning. 

For tomorrow's practice meet, we will run through all age group individual events. This is the ONLY meet where swimmers can swim all four strokes (7&Up) without a penalty for technique or form and will allow us to assess what areas still we need to continue to work on. We will only swim the mixed 6 & under freestyle relays so that they can practice relay exchanges, as it is new for many of them, but we will not have relays in any other age group tomorrow.

Some groups have combined heats to make the timeline run a little faster. 

Other Upcoming Dates and Reminders: 

• Saturday, May 31st - Deadline to Opt-IN or Opt-OUT for the remaining four dual meets. Please find the green "MEET ENTRY" button next to each meet on the Calendar page. This will need to be done for each meet. Once entry closes, your swimmer may not be placed in relays or individual events in the meets if you have not completed this step. We still have a LOT of swimmers who have not declared yet for upcoming meets - PLEASE make sure you take care of this by tomorrow! 
• Thursday, June 5th - First Dual meet vs. Sherwood Oaks (at Sherwood Oaks) More details to follow next week
• Please remember that beginning next week, practices are Tuesday - Saturday in the mornings!
