Make Up Meet & Meet Changes

Hey Sharks,

Thank you so much for your patience during our meet delays last night. The decision to cancel or delay a meet is made together by the coaches from each team and the meet director. Thornwood requested to delay the meet and we were unable to come to consensus to cancel until 7:00pm. Both teams have agreed to make up the girls meet on Tuesday 6/8. I received a lot of email from parents yesterday regarding entries, inclement weather, etc. I will have time to read your notes, but I cannot guarantee that I will have time to respond. I will do my best to answer any meet-day questions in emails out to the team. I can’t wait to see everyone at practice tomorrow for a little bit of racing and some games!   -Coach Andrew

The Swim Committee has worked quickly to negotiate a make-up meet for our girls vs. Thornwood. There are many, many moving parts to this season, and many volunteers working to run our league. We are so thankful we are able to organize a make-up on Tuesday, 6/8, so that both girls and boys get to swim in 3 dual meets. Negotiating this was not without compromises, so please read on for IMPORTANT UPDATES. It’s going to be a busy week!

Monday 6/7: Boys (HOME) Swim Meet vs Thornwood Sharks

• Meet has been switched to a HOME MEET at NFC
• Meet Entry closes 6:00PM, Saturday 6/5. Enter or Opt Out asap! Meet Entry
• Volunteers needed –home meets require more helping hands: Job Sign Up
• Swimmers arrive: 5:00PM

Tuesday 6/8: Girls (AWAY) Swim Meet vs Thornwood Sharks (Make Up Meet)

• Meet switched to an AWAY MEET at Thornwood: 802 Thornbranch Drive
• Update Meet Entry/Opt Out by 6:00PM Sunday 6/6 Meet Entry
• Confirm/Review your Volunteer Job Sign Up
• Read attached note from Thornwood for Meet Details
• Swimmers arrive: 5:00PM

Thursday, 6/10 Girls (AWAY) Swim Meet vs Wilchester Wahoo

• AWAY Meet at Wilchester: 880 Yorkchester Drive
